For agencies: clerk names, work emails, and configuration. For requesters: whatever they submit through an agency's intake form โ name, optional email, and their request. We collect nothing else about requesters; there is no advertising, tracking pixels, or sale of data.
The agency owns its records. RequestWell processes them solely to operate the service, on the agency's instructions.
A session credential for signed-in clerks. Nothing for visitors or requesters.
We email requesters only about their own request (receipt, replies, delivery), and clerks only about their agency's work. No marketing to requesters, ever.
Requests submitted to a public agency may themselves be public records under that agency's law. What an agency discloses is the agency's decision, not ours.
Agencies can export everything at any time and can request deletion through a documented approval workflow (records-retention obligations may apply to the agency).
